Activate Your Live Site
You can Activate your live site from the Theme Dashboard > Activate Theme
Migrate Your Website Content
To transfer your website content from the staging site to the live site, you can use one of the following methods:​
Option A: Use Hosting or Third-Party Migration Tools
Many hosting providers offer migration tools. Alternatively, you can use third-party plugins to automate the migration process.​
Option B: Manual Migration
If you prefer to migrate manually, follow these steps:​
Export Site Content:
In your staging site’s WordPress admin panel, go to: Tools → Export → All Content.
Download the
.xmlfile generated.​
Import Site Content:
In your live site’s WordPress admin panel, navigate to: ​pixfort → Demo Import → Manual Import.
Upload the
.xmlfile you previously downloaded.​
Transfer Theme Options:
- On your staging site, go to:​Theme Options → Import/Export → Download Data File.
On your live site, navigate to the same location and upload the data file to import your theme settings.​
Transfer Widgets:
Use a plugin like Widget Importer & Exporter to export widgets from your staging site and import them into your live site.​
Note
Ensure you do not delete any content from your staging site before completing the migration. The import process requires access to media files (e.g., images) from the original site.​
Disconnect Your Staging Site
After confirming that all content has been successfully migrated to your live site, you can disconnect your staging site from the Theme Dashboard > Manage > Disconnect Site.

If you lost access to your site, you can manage your activations from your pixfort account.
