Using custom fonts can help give your website a unique and branded look.
pixfort WordPress theme supports both Google Fonts (built-in) and externally hosted fonts such as Adobe Fonts or fonts hosted on your own server.
If you want to use Google Fonts, you can simply choose them from the built-in font list in:
Theme Options > Typography > General tab
There, you can assign any Google Font to your Body and Heading text with just a few clicks — no setup required.
Using External Fonts (e.g., Adobe Fonts)
If you’re looking to use external fonts — such as those from Adobe Fonts (Typekit) or any other font provider — you can easily add them in the Advanced tab of the Typography settings.
Example: Adding Adobe Fonts
Create an Adobe Fonts Web Project
Sign in to Adobe Fonts, select your desired font(s), and create a Web Project.
Adobe will provide you with a unique font embed URL like:https://use.typekit.net/zas8dvpw.css

Adobe Fonts > Web Project
Add the Font in Theme Options
Go to Theme Options > Typography > Advanced, then:
- Paste the embed URL into the External Font 1 Link field
- Enter the exact font name (e.g.,
poppins) in the External Font 1 Name field
You can repeat the same process for a second external font using the External Font 2 fields.

Theme Options > Typography > Advanced
Save Theme Options
After saving the changes, you’ll now see your external font(s) appear in the dropdown list in the General tab, ready to be applied to your Body or Heading typography.
